ABOUT BEVERLY WILSON
Beverly Wilson turns ordinary moments into the extraordinary. Her oil paintings are inspired by the dramatic changes of the seasons, temperature and light. With bold compositions, unique strokes, and a personal collection of colors, she expresses the universal rhythms of rural life and her love of the countryside. The land itself and man's place in it are favorite themes.
As a student of Richard Diebenkorn in the early 1970s at UCLA, she was drawn to the qualities of the expressionists and colorists and her work began an evolution into a vibrant style of her own. After earning a BFA, she spent a year in Italy selling her sketches as she traveled through the vineyard regions of Tuscany and Umbria. It was this love of the wine country and the tranquility of rural life that brought her to the Napa Valley in 1983. She lives and paints in the Napa Valley countryside and wherever travels may take her.

The hike & educational discussion about the pollinator population will be led by Ruby Stahel, Conservation Project Manager with Napa RCD. This hike is appropriate for intermediate hikers.

For our beginner hikers & families with young children, ACCPF will offer a Curiosity Kids observation hike led by Miss Joy. This abbreviated hike will offer engaging hands-on nature exploration opportunities.

Please remember to wear sturdy shoes, dress in layers, bring sunscreen, bug spray and a water bottle for your hiking comfort.

BACON & WINE EXPERIENCE

Now - March 2023
Only Available by Appointment
Our chef has added a unique flavor to our Bacon & Wine Experience in honor of the Napa Valley mustard season. When pairing mustard and wine, the most essential detail is the intensity of the mustard. Your wines should have the same flavor intensity as your food. Mustard has a wide variety of power based on the many different styles. We decided to pair our 2019 Priest Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon with bacon coated with Honey Mustard. Honey mustard has a slight sweetness to coincide with its tangy flavor. Because our Cabernet Sauvignon has notes of red fruits, spices, vanilla, and a hint of cherry cola, it can help counteract those flavors of honey mustard but will also cut the salt and fat you get from the bacon. Only available by appointment, now through March 2023.
